Ohio State Reformatory's audio guide card

The Ohio State Reformatory , also known as the Mansfield Reformatory, is a historic prison in Mansfield, Ohio, built between 1886 and 1910. It operated until 1990, when it was closed due to a federal court order. Famous for its stunning architecture and as the filming location for The Shawshank Redemption (1994), the reformatory now welcomes visitors to explore its rich history through customizable tours.

Nubart's audio guide for the Ohio State Reformatory provides an engaging and informative experience at this iconic site, allowing visitors to discover the rich stories that have shaped its legacy. The guide is available in multiple languages - including English, Chinese, Japanese and Spanish - and features an interactive map that allows guests to easily navigate to various points of interest throughout the Reformatory. The audio guide offers transcripts of each audio track for improved accessibility.

In addition, the audio guide includes NUBART GAME, a tailor-made game designed to enhance the visitor experience and engage people of all ages. The catch and answer game features a character specially designed by Nubart. The character is inspired by one of the prison's mascots, Andy the Racoon.
