Train de la Rhune's audio guide system

Almost every summer for the past 100 years, the historic Train de la Rhune rack-railway travels from the Col de Saint Ignace to the summit of La Rhune, climbing to an altitude of 905 meters at a speed of 9 km per hour. Along the way, it crosses a border landscape of exceptional beauty, rich in indigenous flora and fauna, and the cradle of historical events and legends. Exceptionally well preserved, the Train de la Rhune will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2024.

To celebrate, Train de la Rhune has commissioned Nubart to produce a digital audio guide in French, Spanish, English and Basque, from the script to the sound effects. This audio guide accompanies passengers during their journey on the train. The different audio tracks are linked so that they can be listened to in one go, without having to activate them individually. Once at the top, Nubart's digital group guidance system facilitates communication with a human guide.
